Mr. Denton “Bo” Earl Wascom, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022, at the age of 85.

Mr. Wascom is survived by his wife, Doris Jones Wascom; two sons, Alan Kirk Wascom of Dadeville (Lake Martin), Ala., and Mark Wilson Wascom of Fredericksburg, Va.; two stepsons, Pete Valdez and Chico Valdez, both of Columbia, Miss.; and his grandchildren, Alex Tucker Wascom of Auburn, Ala., Brittany Wascom of Smiths Station, Ala., Shantell Valdez of Columbia, Caleb Valdez of Kentucky, and Karen Carpenter of Washington.

Mr. Wascom was preceded in death by his parents, C.W. and Willie Mae Wascom; and a stepdaughter, Dawn Valdez.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 20, from noon until time for the services at 2 p.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dennis Allen officiating the services. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
