Sharonda Danielle Morris-Dillion was born on May 23, 1976, in Bogalusa, to the late Nora Marie Robinson Morris and Oliver Morris, Glenise Brice.

Sharonda begin her early religious training at an early age. Sharonda attended Bogalusa High School, graduating in 1995. She also attended Southern Louisiana University. Later in life, she moved, joining Hayes Chapel United Methodist Church.

Sharonda was united in Holy matrimony to Roderick (Smokey) Dillion and to the union two children Ronmille and Ayden Dillion.

Sharonda’s perseverance was impeccable. She had a passion for helping people, a big giving heart. She worked in the medical field for many years. She was a loving, caring, and loving, caring and patient caregiver. She loved trying and getting everyone to try new foods, shopping and reading.

Sharonda leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Rondrick (Smokey) Dillion; sons, Ronmille and Ayden Dillion; fathers, Oliver Morris and Glenise Brice; siblings, Oricka (Elon) Common, Spencer (Yamia) Robinson, Tyrik and Taysean Henry, Chianece and Towarren Brown Jr., Analyse and Michael Brice Jr., Tayshaun and Aaliyah Elliot, and Violet and Cameron Matthews; aunts and uncles, Mary McCloud, Deborah (Charles) Plummer, Katie (Gilbert) Williams, Bonnie Robinson, Victoria (Bruce) Banks, Patricia Allen, Douglas and Robert Earl Morris, Fannie Monday, Catha Peters, Marilyn Harry, Joe Ellen (Ray) McGowan and James Earl ( Francis) Brice; god-children, Jasmine Clark, Sydney Ewing and Cyera Lathan; a special cousin, Shannon Abram-Young; special friends, Leona Magee, Helen Thomas, Shaneika Merrille Sanders, Aisha Lathan, Chandra Levi, Nikki Bethea, Trini Holts, Terri Dillion, Tomeka Johnson, Willie Cook, Shena Byrd and Kendra Powell; sisters and brothers-in-law, Latoria and Shander Dillion, Sakemiah and Ronnie (Toya) Cotton, Candielica and Lindsey (pebbie) Conerly, and Sherre (Donald) Anthony; and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.

Sharonda was preceded in death by her mother, Nora Marie Robinson Morris; grandparents, Oree and Henry Robinson, Nurcille and Eugene Morris, and Juanita and Robert Brice Sr.; her mother-in-love, Hazel Dillion, and a special friend, Cora Jean Dillion

Visitation will be Friday, April 1, from 2 p.m. until 5p.m., with a family hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Cook- Richmond Funeral Home Chapel in Franklinton. The funeral service will be Saturday April 2, at 1:30 p.m. at The Kingdom of God Church, located at 814 Union Ave. in Bogalusa. Apostle Kendon Grant is the pastor and the Rev. Terrence August will be officiating.
