Bogalusa City Schools, Washington Parish Schools, Annunciation Catholic School and Bowling Green School said they would have changes to their regular student routines Tuesday, as the region may possibly see severe weather.

In a Facebook post, officials with the Bogalusa City Schools stated: “Due to the moderate risk of severe weather with 60 mph winds, possibility of tornadoes, and 2-4+ inches of rain predicted, we will have a virtual learning day tomorrow, March 22nd.”

On its own Facebook page, Annunciation Catholic School announced that it will dismiss students at 12:30 p.m., and there will be no aftercare. The morning instruction will still be in person at the school campus.

Washington Parish Schools also announced on Facebook that it will have a virtual learning day Tuesday.

“After meeting with the Department of Homeland Security and reviewing the severe weather predictions for tomorrow, it has been decided that the safest option for our students is to receive instruction virtually for March 22, 2022,” officials stated.

Bowling Green School in Franklinton will be closed Tuesday.
