A memorial service for Charles Eugene Nicholson will be held for friends and family on Saturday, March 5, at 2 p.m. at The Kingdom of God Fellowship Hall, located at 814 Union Ave. in Bogalusa. He was born on Feb. 17, 1959, and passed away on Jan. 28, 2022.

Mr. Nicholson was a life-long resident of Washington Parish. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Yancy; his father, Gavin Nicholson; and two brothers, Johnny Nicholson of Bogalusa and Paul Nicholson of Kentwood.

Mr. Nicholson is survived by his wife, Dana Burge Nicholson; three sons, Charles Jr. (Mary) of Bogalusa, James (Patty) of Picayune, Miss., and Logan (Hilarie) of Covington; and one daughter, Sierra Nicholson of Bogalusa. He is also survived by five grandsons, Charles, James, Brandon, Zyh’Keina and Logan Jr.; five granddaughters, Kaileen, Kaitlyn, Emily, ZaNiyah and Zayleigh, and a new granddaughter due soon; two brothers, Timmy Nicholson of Bogalusa and Douglas Nicholson of Kentwood; one sister, Patty Gayle Flynn of Jacksonville, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews; and also a very special family friend, Sigrid Bommer.
