Mr. Richard Monroe Mauldin, a resident of Bentonia, Miss., passed away in Jackson, Miss., at the age of 72.

Mr. Mauldin is survived by his two sons, Richard Keith Taylor and Ranall Derrick Mauldin; one daughter, Vicky Renee McGowan; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Roger Mauldin; and three sisters, Joann Glenn, Mary Mauldin and Gloria Perry.

Mr. Mauldin was preceded in death by his parents, Ira Monroe Mauldin and Maggie Mae Williams Mauldin; his wife, Peggy Mauldin; and a son, Scottie Monroe Taylor.

A graveside service was held Thursday, Feb. 24, at 3 p.m. at Ponemah Cemetery, with the Rev. Ronnie Comans officiating.
