Bogalusa Mayor Wendy Perrette presented MCCA XLII King Johnny Passman and Queen Theresa Wascom with a “Key to the City” at the MCCA toast at Bogalusa City Hall on Friday.

The Mardi Gras parade will start at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26.

Krewe of Unity King Glennis McKelphin Jr. and Krewe of Unity Queen Danielle Keys were also recognized during the toast. The Bogalusa High School marching band provided musical entertainment.
