Franklinton splits last 4 games, Demons win against Loranger at the buzzer

Franklinton’s Demons went 2-2 in its four games that were held Feb. 2 and Feb. 4 along with Monday and Wednesday.

The game on Feb. 4 was an 82-44 loss to Amite on the road.

Wyatt Lambert led the team with 20 points.

R.J. Hart posted eight.

Billy Gross tallied six.

Kobie McKormick recorded four.

Keey’ontreh Williams, Amari Conerly and D.J. Harvey both had two.

On Feb. 4, Franklinton defeated Pearl River, 58-52, in a District 9-4A contest that was held on the road.

Goss was Franklinton’s leader in points with 14.

Hart posted 13 points that included a 3-pointer.

N’Jyran Williams tallied eight.

Senqualon Conerly and McKormick both posted six. Conerly made two 3-pointers.

Keyon Nelson and Keey’ontreh Williams both posted three points. Nelson made a 3-pointer.

Lambert had two points.

On Monday, McKormick hit the game-winning 3-pointer in a 55-54 victory over Loranger on the road in non-district play.

McKormick tallied seven points that included the winning 3-pointer.

Gross led the team with 14 points.

Conerly posted 12 points and he made two 3-pointers.

Keey’ontreh WIlliams recorded eight.

Nelson tallied six on two 3-pointers.

Hart posted five.

Lambert had two.

N’Jyran Williams put up one.

On Wednesday, Franklinton was defeated by Woodlawn of Baton Rouge, 71=57, in a non-district game at home.

Franklinton’s next game will be against Lakeshore at home on Feb. 11.
