Oscar Roland Seal Jr. passed away on Jan. 20, 2022, at his home in Crossroads, Miss., at the age of 89, surrounded by his family and friends.

Junior was born in New Orleans, to the late Oscar Roland Seal and Mae Jane Seal, and was a resident of Crossroads, where he and his wife raised their five children and enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.

Junior was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Juanita Buras; and brother, W.J. Seal.

Junior leaves behind his beloved wife of 60 years, Gearldine Aldridge Seal; his children, Jeff Seal of Crossroads, Diary (Raymond) Fuller of Foxworth, Miss., Lynn (Robert Wheat) Seal of Crossroads, Julian (Kelly) Seal of Crossroads, and Tony (Christa) Seal of Bogalusa; brothers, Jessie (Joyce) Seal and David Seal; sisters, Hilma Williams and Eloise Wheat; brothers-in-law, Lee (Linda) Aldridge and Wayne (Jean) Aldridge; sisters-in-law, Mae Duncan, Elizabeth Aldridge and Mary (Paul) Shaw; grandchildren, Jordan (Johnathan) Lott, Tyler (Brittany) Seal, Emily Seal, Tabitha Seal, Amanda (Chase) Sartin, Dustin (Julie) Stogner, Lee (Abby)Fuller, Joshua (Melissa) Hartfield, Colby (Zoe) Seal, Miranda, Celena and Mason Wheat, Nicholas, Jacob, and Noah Smith, Natalie Seal, Ethan and Eli Seal; and also his great-grandchildren, Hunter, Jackson, Gavin, Maddie, Joey, Mekenzie, Ensley Dalton, Owen, Carter, Holden, McKenzie, Charlotte, Cam and Raelynn. Junior is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and special friend, Larry (Debbie) Clement.

Visitation will be held at Crossroads United Pentecostal Church on Sunday, Jan. 23, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., and Monday, Jan. 24, from 10 a.m. until time for the services at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Stogner, Colby Seal, Joshua Hartfield, Tyler Seal, Eli Seal, Emily Seal and Noah Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Ethan Seal, Nick Smith and Jacob Smith.
