Elaine L. Burris was born July 4, 1940, to Alvia Mae Thompson. She peacefully passed to Glory on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital.

A drive-through viewing will be held on Friday, Dec. 31, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.

The funeral service will be held at Union Chapel A.M.E. Church in Kentwood on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022, at 11 a.m. She will be laid to rest at the Crystal Springs A.M.E. Church Cemetery in Mt. Hermon.
