Tre’male Deonta Jenkins was born Sept. 16, 1991, to Theresa Jenkins and David Rodgers at Bogalusa Medical Center and departed this life Dec. 7, 2021, in Franklinton. At an early age, he joined Winan United Methodist Church under the leadership of the Rev. Terrence August. He was a graduate of Franklinton High School, Class of 2011. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his four-wheelers.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his parents, Theresa Jenkins of San Antonio, Texasa, David (Tish) Rodgers of Franklinton, and Riley Jones of Progress, Miss.; his children, Deauna Simmons of McComb, Miss., Jahmir Jenkins of Covington, and Tremod Tyner of Bogalusa; brothers, Dominque Jenkins and Ryché Jenkins of San Antonio, Texas, and La’Daryl Fortenberry of Houston, Texas; a loving fiancé, Onycha Young and a special sister, Chansonette (Jackie) Clark; uncles, Oree (Ja’net) Jenkins, Trei (Bianca) Jenkins, Stephen (Chasity) Jenkins, Paul (Annie) Williams and Kendrick Rodgers; aunts, Kyllie Jenkins, Sharhonda Jenkins, Evangaline Jenkins Tate, Priscilla (Daferlin Sr.) Walls, Vickie (Jimmy) Ladner, Heather (Tyrone) Walls, Joyce Baker, Girtha Adams and Cassandra (Bryan) Magee, Carol (Kendrick) Magee, Anthony Jones, and Ronnie Jones; and host of other relatives and friends.
The drive-through viewing will be Thursday, Dec. 16, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., at Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Franklinton.
Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, at Sweet Home Church of Christ Holiness, with Elder Albert Partman officiating. Interment will be in Winan Cemetery.
