Mr. Windell Ray “Wink” Keating, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away at his residence on Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021, surrounded by loved ones at the age of 55.

Windell was married to the love of his life, Beth Keating. He enjoyed his lifelong career of truck driving, racing, outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and watching his grandchildren play sports.

He is survived by his loving wife, Beth Keating; son, Kindell (Amber) Keating; grandchildren, Kaiden, Brantley and Waylon Keating; mother, Ann Nell Cooksey; brothers, Darrell (Melissa) Keating and Greg Keating; sisters, Rebecca Keating and Melissa (Jeff) Bryan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Keating.

Visitation was held Tuesday, Nov. 23, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., and again Wednesday, Nov. 24, from 10 a.m. until time for the services at 2 p.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home, with the Rev. Adrian Littlefield and the Rev. Wesley Quave officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Noah Daspit, Roger Flynn, Jonathan Scianna, Jarrod Fremin, Jimmy Moody, and D’Ray Phelps. Honorary pallbearers will be Kaiden Keating and Brantley Keating.
