With inclement weather expected in the coming days, sandbags are available at several locations for Washington Parish residents. Sandbags became available beginning at 8 a.m. Friday.

• City of Bogalusa residents — limit 10 per person. Austin Street at Bayer Street, Main Street Ballpark, or the Avenue B Sports Complex. Sand and bags are available at each location. Please bring your own shovel.
• All residents located outside city limits — Washington Parish Fire District No. 7, 17380 Bill Booty Road in Bogalusa, sand and bags are available, please bring your own shovel; Public Works Location No. 3, 801 Pearl St. in Franklinton; or Public Works Location No. 2, Yacc Road in Bogalusa (behind the Washington Parish Animal Shelter).
• Varnado/Angie residents — Varnado Town Hall, 63097 Main St. in Varnado, sand and bags are available, bring your own shovel, pre-filled bags will be available for those unable to fill their own.
• Town of Franklinton residents — limit 10 per vehicle. Maintenance Building at 1108 Lenora St. in Franklinton, pre-filled bags are available.
