Typolia “Junior” Peters Jr. was born on May 7, 2000, to Typolia Sr. and Tina Peters in Covington.

Typolia attended Bogalusa High School, and his passions were crabbing, fishing and enjoying his family. He loved to ride his dirt bike and make people smile.

Typolia aspired to own his own construction company one day. He loved working with his hands.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving parents, Typolia Sr. and Tina Peters of Bogalusa; three brothers, Terrence Bedford “T.J.,” Tyberius Bedford “Bird” of Covington, and Malik Peters of Angie; two loving sisters, Tytiona Purvis of Covington, and Sharday Williams of Little Rock, Ark.; six uncles, Derrick “Dione” Peters, Kenny Wayne Ishman, Johnathan (LaShayla) Peters of Bogalusa, Sherman (DeBoria) Smith of Slidell, John (Toda) Jones II of Bogalusa, and Brian Purvis of Covington; three loving aunts, Jonita Gibson and Misty Purvis of Bogalusa, and Angel Purvis of Covington; a host of cousins, friends, as well as a special friend, Jasmyn McGowan and her children, Romello, Sincere, Jomir, Journee and LaKieshiara Jones; and also an unborn son, Kaiden LeTravis Jones.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Toy Marigny and Roy Purvis; and paternal grandparents, Sherilyn Harry Peters and John (Sandra) Jones.

He will be missed by the many people whose lives he touched on his journey.

A drive-through visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 20, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa.

The funeral service will be on Saturday, Aug. 21, at 1 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa. Interment will be held at Live Oak Cemetery in Angie.
