Reuben Fernando “Fat” Anthony was born to Reuben Watts and the late Fanessa Anthony on Jan. 21, 1989. He was the oldest child of four. He departed this life on July 16, 2021.

Reuben was loved by his family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing, doing floors, and loved to ride around.

Reuben leaves to cherish his memories to his father, Reuben (Melanie) Watts of Bogalusa; two sisters, Andrea Anthony of Franklinton, and Macie McKenzie of Bogalusa; three brothers, Adrian Lawson and Daylon McKenzie of Bogalusa, and Deandre Lawson of Franklinton; two nieces, Jessica Rodriguez of Bogalusa, and Kinsley Clark of Franklinton; two nephews, Jayden Clark and Logan Clark of Franklinton; a special friend, Monique Burkhalter of Franklinton; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Fanessa Anthony; a nephew, Kycen Lawson; maternal grandparents, Mervin and Marion Anthony; paternal grandparents, Ruben F. Watts Jr. and Betty L. Burton; and an uncle, Paul D. Burkhalter.

A drive-through viewing will be held Friday, July 23, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.

A funeral service will be Saturday, July 24, at 1 p.m. at Sweet Home Church of Christ Holiness with Elder Alvin Partman officiating. Interment will be at Greenback Cemetery.
