Mrs. Augusta DeLaughter Dugan, 88, passed away on July 15, 2021, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. She was a lifelong member of ESM United Methodist Church in Bogalusa.

Mrs. Dugan is survived by her two children, Herschel Doy Dugan Jr. (Clelie) of Mandeville, and Maureen Gentry (Earl) of Spanish Fort, Ala.; six grandchildren, Meghan Baxter, Erik Gentry, Erin Gentry, William Dugan (Karley), Thomas Dugan and Mary Grace Dugan; and one great-grandchild, Vivienne Baxter.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Mr. Herschel Doy Dugan Sr.; and her parents, Clyde and Myrtle DeLaughter.

Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with the funeral arrangements. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 21, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m., with Bro. James Moore officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa.
