With possible inclement weather in the forecast for this weekend, sandbags will be available for citizens in the coming days.

City of Bogalusa

• Will be open to city of Bogalusa residents beginning 7 a.m. on Friday. Limit of 10 per person — Austin Street at Bayer Street; Main Street Ballpark; or Avenue B Sports Complex. Sand and bags will be available at each location. Bring your own shovel.

Residents outside Bogalusa city limits

• Will be available beginning at 1 p.m. on Thursday — Washington Parish Fire District No 7, 17380 Bill Booty Road; Public Works Location #3, 801 Pearl St. in Franklinton; Public Works Location #2, Yacc Road (behind Washington Parish Animal Shelter). Sand and bags will be available at each location. Bring your own shovel.

Varnado/Angie

• Will be available beginning at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Varnado Town Hall, 63097 Main St. Sand and bags will be available. Bring your own shovel. Pre-filled bags will be available for those unable to fill their own.

Town of Franklinton

• Open to residents beginning at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Maintenance Building, 1108 Lenora St. Limit 10 per vehicle. Pre-filled bags will be available.
