Germaine L. Ellison, 67, of Bogalusa, was born on Sept. 9, 1953, in New Orleans, and passed away on May 28, 2021.

She was a servant to her community, changing many lives with her generosity to help those in need.

Germaine was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Seaton Sr.; mother, Tereasa Seaton; brother, David Ellison; and sisters, Agatha Ellison and Keran Moses.

She is survived by her daughters, Tineka (Raynell) Blair Sr. and Lashanda Green; and her sons, Kevin (Jeromi-Terry) Green Jr., Raymond (Kesha) Keys Jr., and Justin (Danielle Jenene) Keys; grandchildren, Jazmyne, Jahnique, Keyla, Diamond, Jada, Tierra, Destiny, Kennedy, Chelsey, Jordyn, Jermari, Raynell Jr., Justice and Justin; and great-grandchildren, Jahlyia, Danni, and Jaycee. Her surviving siblings are Belinda Conerly, DeLisa Dorsey, Eddie Seaton Jr., Don Seaton and Nolton Seaton.

A visitation will take place on Friday, June 11, 2021, at Christway Ministries 1040 Ave E., Bogalusa, LA 70427 at noon followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. Friends, family and alumni of Booker T. Washington High School are invited to attend the services. Interment will be held at Carrollton Cemetery #1 on Saturday, June 12, at 9 a.m.
