Mrs. Lizzie Ruth Magee was born Oct. 11, 1931 in Hub, Miss., to the late Gus and Elizabeth Abram. On the morning on May 17, 2021, she transitioned from labor to reward at her home in Bogalusa.

Mrs. Lizzie Ruth leaves to celebrate her memories: her devoted daughter, Gladys Magee; her son, Charles (Erma) Magee; her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 21, beginning at 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Cook-Richmond Funeral Home, located at 638 Columbia St. in Bogalusa.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 22, at 11 a.m. at the Cook-Richmond Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Raymond E. Mims Sr. officiating. Interment will be at Sweet Valley Cemetery in Hub.
