Vicky Darlene Helton Pounds, a resident of Bogalusa, 63, born on Feb. 15, 1958, in Bogalusa, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington.
She is survived by two daughters, Chanda Dee (Brent) Winstead of Bogalusa, and Tori Darlene (Russell) Pullen of Poplarville, Miss.; a sister, Tammy (Charlie) Fornea of Varnado; three brothers, Charles (Pam) Helton, Allen (Sissy) Helton, and Chad (Rochele) Helton, all of Bogalusa; grandchildren, Tyler Winstead, Breleigh Winstead, Andi (Staff Sergeant Caleb) Smith, Emili Pullen, and Natali Pullen; and a great-granddaughter, Mary Alice Smith. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, as well as cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory Eugene Pounds; her parents, Nelson J. Helton and Opal Sue Penton Helton; and a brother, Tommy Helton.
Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 21, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will continue at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, April 22, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Kelly Penton officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
