Vincent Edgar Chauvin Sr., 75, born on Aug. 14, 1945, passed away on March 4, 2021, at his residence in Bogalusa.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen Byers Chauvin; three sons and daughters-in-law, Vincent Chauvin Jr. (Traci), Todd Chauvin (Trisha), and Paul Chauvin; a brother, Patrick Chauvin (Grace); a sister, Loretta Vizzini; 17 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Esther Chauvin; a twin brother, John Edward Chauvin; a daughter-in-law, Melissa Chauvin; and a grandson, Alexander Esteva.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 2, from 10 a.m. until noon at Plainview Baptist Church, located at 55179 Highway 60 in Bogalusa. Memorial Services will be at noon with the Rev. Keith Sheridan and the Rev. Cory Magee officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Plainview Baptist Church, Mission Work, in the name of Vincent Edgar Chauvin Sr.
