“The City of Bogalusa has completed work on its FY2019 Community Development Block Grant for construction of Sewer System Rehabilitation Improvements in the northern part of the City in general area known as Richardson Town. The purpose of the meeting is to hear comments from the public concerning the City’s performance of the activities funded under the FY2019 Community Development Block Grant (LCDBG) Program. This public notice and a final public hearing are being held prior to final closeout documents being sent to the State. If anyone has any comments, questions, or grievances, they should present these to the public hearing to be held on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. at the City Hall.”
Upon the closure of the public hearing, the regular meeting will begin.
The agenda includes two action items. The first is a resolution by the council to authorize the mayor to sign an intergovernmental agreement with the Washington Parish Government to assist the City of Bogalusa with skilled labor and mechanized equipment toward driveway, parking area, road rehabilitation, drainage and flood control.
The second action item is an ordinance to amend Section 12-3 of the Bogalusa City Code.
There will also be time for public participation, administrative remarks and other council discussion.
The next meeting of the Bogalusa City Council will be held Tuesday, March 2, at 5:30 p.m.
