With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, the members of the National Honor Society at Franklinton High School participated in a service project to fit the occasion.
Members were given a variety of colored hearts to decorate to fit the theme. These paper hearts also included a Valentine’s phrase that we hope will bring a smile to the residents’ faces. These hearts will be hung up in the halls of Heritage Manor so that each resident is reminded how much they are loved and appreciated by their community.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the members were not able to see the reactions when the hearts were delivered to the nursing home. However, we hope that they put a smile on the residents’ faces and wish them a Happy Valentines Day.
