Richard Willmon “Nose” Owens, 78, a longtime resident of Bogalusa, departed this life on Jan. 7, 2021.

He was born to Willmon Thomas Owens and Malinda Brock Owens on June 25, 1942. He passed away from complications of COVID-19.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Owens; daughters, Sonia, Mary (granddaughter); son, Damien; three sisters, Shirley, Doris and Jada; a brother, Jessie; and a very special niece, Jamia.

A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date, per his daughter’s request. Special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Carl Jones for all their help. The family appreciates your calls, donations and prayers during our time of bereavement.
