Dudley Talley, 86, born on July 24, 1934, in Bogalusa, passed away on Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, at his residence in Bogalusa. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Verna Gaye Talley of Bogalusa; two daughters, Stacey Talley of Baton Rouge, and Wendy Talley of Bogalusa; and a sister, Geraldine Talley of Bogalusa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel S. Talley and Tessie Allie Wascom Talley; and his siblings, Cecil Sherman Talley, Donald Ray Talley and Margie Sue Eads.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 10, with the Rev. Clay Norwood officiating. Entombment will be at Sanctuary of Peace Mausoleum in Ponemah Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations should be sent to Superior Avenue Baptist Church, and/or St. Tammany Hospital Hospice.
