By vote of her peers and supervisors, Washington Parish Corrections Sergeant Diane Loupe was named Corrections Deputy of the Quarter for October, November and December 2020.
On behalf of Sheriff Randy Seal, Loupe was presented a plaque by Chief Criminal Deputy Mike Haley. Loupe supervises the daily operation of the Washington Parish Jail, reporting directly to Chief of Corrections Jim Miller.
She also coordinates the jail’s Zoom video conferencing program, which allows the court magistrate and district court judges to conduct certain judicial procedures remotely.
Sheriff Randy Seal commented on Loupe’s selection as Corrections Deputy of the Quarter.
“Sgt. Loupe is an outstanding manager whose work has drawn praise from the judiciary and others who work with her,” he said. “She is a vital part of the WPSO family and we are pleased to be able to honor her work.”
