Coalition holds final meeting of year

The Washington Parish Coalition on Human Services (WPCHS) held its December meeting at ADAPT on Tuesday.
Officers for the 2021 year were elected by acclamation. The newly elected officers include: Glory Davis, president; Gloria Kates, vice president; Alice “A.J.” Sherrard, second vice president; Katasha August, secretary; Tiffany Crain, treasurer; and Mike Ingram, parliamentarian. Rusty Fornea serves as executive director for ADAPT, which is the fiscal agency for WPCHS.
Those in attendance included: in person, Rhonda Gunnell, Rusty Fornea, Glory Davis, Gloria Kates, Ginger Champagne, Dana Walker, Regina Meyerchick, Mike Ingram and Maddie Champagne; and via Zoom, Alice “A.J.” Sherrard, Donna Davis, Marty Hennegan, Selina Gilliland, Katasha August, David Boudreaux and Wendy Perrette.
The next scheduled meeting for WPCHS will be on Jan. 26, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. at ADAPT, located at 216 Memphis St. in Bogalusa. Meetings are open to the public. For more information, contact Fornea at 985-735-0160.
