Louis Darnell “Uncle D” Brumfield was born Dec. 31, 1954, to Mr. and Mrs. Fred (Elizabeth) Brumfield Jr. in Bogalusa, and he departed from his earthly house to his home in glory at the age of 65 on Monday, Nov. 30, 2020, in Bogalusa.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his sisters, Debra Morris Tate of Bogalusa, Mamie L. Clay of New Orleans, Melissa Taylor of Baton Rouge; brother, Fred Brian (Cora) Brumfield of Franklinton; aunts, Bernice Hill of Detroit, Mich., and Ella Carr of Chicago, Ill.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Fred Brumfield.
Drive through visitation will be on Friday, Dec. 4, at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5, at 3:30 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home, with the Rev. Alfred Young Jr. officiating. Interment will be in the Bogalusa Cemetery.
