David Wayne Tillman passed away at the age of 48 on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020, in New Orleans.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his mother, Precious Ann Tillman of Bogalusa; his father, David Earl Tillman of Carriere, Miss.; his children, LaDarius Jervon Lewis of Baton Rouge, Devin Trevonne Tillman of Walker, Asia Marisa Nelson of Bogalusa, Demontae DeWayne Tillman of Bogalusa, and Deonta’ Wayne Nelson of Bogalusa; two brothers, Dana (Patrice) Tillman of Harvey, Ill., and Jamal (Thembi) Tillman of Louisville, Ky.; one sister, Kilolo Keys of Stone Mountain, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Geneva Laurent, Ernest Laurent Sr., Georgia Tillman and Jeff Tillman; and aunts and uncles, Helen Laurent, Carolynn Magee, Marilyn Tillman, Delores Manning, Ernest Laurent, and J. and James Tillman.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5, at 1 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Christopher Matthews officiating.
