“I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7).

On Friday, Nov. 6, 2020, Angela Diane Netherland, a resident of Pine, passed away peacefully with her husband and children by her side.

She was born on Aug. 29, 1973, in Bogalusa.

She was preceded in death by her precious mother, Deborah Branton Brumfield; her grandmother, Allie Mae Blackwell Branton; her grandfather, Howard E. Branton; her mother and father-in-law, Shelby and Ivy Netherland; and also Nell and Joe Petrolia, and her “angel” grandchild, Madison Wallace.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories: her beloved husband and best friend of 31 years, Allen Joseph Netherland; her three children, Joey (Dana) Netherland, Shelby (Lance) Wallace and Zachary (Ashley) Netherland; her 13 grandchildren, Abigail, Joleigh, Alayah, Bubba, Aubree, and Joey Jr. Netherland, Jason, Karson, Bentley and Dawson Wallace, and Zaylee, Bentley and Ivy Netherland; her brother-in-law, Darrell Petrolia; and sister-in-law, Joyce (Gene) Mooneyham.

She also leaves behind her father, Claude Delos Brumfield, of Isabel; one sister; one brother; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Services were held Monday, Nov. 9, in the chapel of Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa at 2 p.m., with Brother Pete Underwood officiating. Interment followed at Hilltop Church Cemetery on Monroe Creek Road in Angie.

Visitation began at the funeral home Monday morning from 10 a.m. until the service time in the chapel.
