Unofficial early elections returns are beginning to come in for Washington Parish, according to the Secretary of State’s website.

As of 10:10 p.m., there were 40 of 41 precincts in the parish that had reported results. Some of the major races at that early time included:

  • Bogalusa city judge (19 of 19 precincts reporting, early/absentee reported) — David Merlin Duke 3,156, Robert J. Black 2,837
  • Mayor of Franklinton (3 of 3 precincts reporting, early/absentee reported) — Greg Route 779, John Daniel 727
  • District Judge, Division J (174 of 210 precincts reporting district-wide, 2 of 2 parishes reporting early/absentee) — Ellen Creel 79,756, Richard Ducote 47,197
  • District Attorney (174 of 210 precincts reporting district-wide, 2 of 2 parishes reporting early/absentee) — Wayne Montgomery 83,466, Vincent Wynne 47,830
