Ida Wilson Braxton was born on May 9, 1971, to the late Fannie Dillon and Colie Wilson. She departed this life on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her husband, Terrio Braxton; three sons, Pierre Wilson and Peter Williams, both of Austin, Texas, and Jordon Williams of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Delores Harvey of Franklinton, and Lawanda Warren of Baton Rouge; and a brother, Demareo Athey of Franklinton; as well as other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fannie Dillon and Colie Wilson; a brother, Tolia Wilson; paternal grandparents, Armetha and Willie J. Wilson; and maternal grandparents, Ida Mae and Myrtis Dillon.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Outreach Full Gospel Church, with a funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Antoine Graves, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Martin Cemetery in Franklinton.
