Donna Newman Mitchell, 54, of Bogalusa, passed away Monday, Sept. 7, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Miss.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Mitchell; sisters, Cheryl Saraceno and Sharon Kay Jenkins; and brother, Jimmy Newman, all of Bogalusa.

She was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Adam Morrison; her parents, Peggy and Murriel “Doc” Newman; and her brother, Steve Newman.

Per her wishes, a celebration of life will be held at her home in Bogalusa on Sunday, Sept. 13, at 2 p.m., weather permitting.
