Mr. Michael Bolds was born Dec. 24, 1948, to the late Rev. and Mrs. Warren N. (Catherine Fields) Bolds Sr. He departed from his earthly home to his home in glory at the age of 71, on Friday, July 24, 2020, at his residence.

Drive-thru visitation will be on Thursday, July 30, at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. The funeral service will be Saturday, Aug. 1, at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Linza Ray Cotton officiating.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his wife, Vera Lee Bolds of Angie; son, Cedric (Arianne) Bolds of Sun; five daughters, Angela Moses of Varnado, Marion Moses of Angie, Fallon Moses and LaKeticia Bolds of Bogalusa, and Alainea Bolds of Richmond, Calif.; one brother, Warren Bolds Jr. of Bogalusa; three sisters, DoEllen M. Bolds McKey of Sun, Lindia Bolds Williams of Marietta, Ga., and Sandra G. (Vernell) Bolds Smith of Jackson, Miss.; two uncles, Rudolph (Jesse) Bolds Sr. of Baton Rouge and Wilfred (Eartha) Bolds Sr. of Gretna; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. Warren N. Bolds Sr. and Catherine Fields Bolds; son, Michael Bolds Jr.; and eight sisters and brothers, Elaine, Phillip, Isaiah, Martha, Lillian Elizabeth, Alice Janet, Randy and Juanita Bolds.
