Ms. Anna Lee Warren was born April 14, 1930, at Tylertown General Hospital. She departed her life on Monday, May 18, 2020, at St. Tammany Hospital. She confessed in Christ at Greater Hayes Creek Missionary Baptist Church, where she was on the usher board for 30 plus years.
She leaves to cherish her memories: five children, Patricia (John) Wilson of Franklinton, Johnray (Linda) Warren, Robert (Betty) Warren, all of Franklinton, Bobby Ray (Marilyn) Warren of Slidell, and Hemyearl (Daisy) Warren of Tylertown, Miss.; 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Louise Barnes; and one daughter-in-law, Genevia Warren, both of Franklinton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Major Warren; six children, Darryl, Alfred, Dora, Lee, Shirley Ann, Anniebell Warren; her father’s mother, Alleater Ginn; three brothers, Johnearl, Calvin, and Charles Ginn; two sisters, Verlene Ginn, Catherine Dillon; and a god-brother, Robert Brumfield.
A drive-thru viewing will be held from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 23, at 11 a.m. at Greater Hayes Creek Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jerome Warren, pastor, officiating, and Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Franklinton in charge of arrangements.
