Washington Parish President Richard “Ned” Thomas said Friday that the Washington Parish Courthouse will begin instituting changes for public visitors.
Due to the state’s “Phase One” reopening, the courthouse will only allow 25-percent capacity or entrance by appointments for the Assessor’s Office and Clerk of Court Office.
A mask and a temperature check will be required upon entering the courthouse.
Upon entering, please continue to practice social distancing and respect the surroundings of others.
“Thank you in advance for your patience, as we all work together through this very deviant situation,” Thomas said.
