Judge Robert Black of the Bogalusa City Court announced this week that the court would remain closed at least until April 30, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Black said that all court matters — civil and criminal — scheduled through April 30 at Bogalusa City Court will be continued to a later date. Anyone subpoenaed to appear at any court proceeding through April 30 is asked to contact the Clerk of Court at 985-732-6204 in order to be re-assigned a court date.

Black said that this order does not limit the court’s ability to rule on Emergency-type DCFS or Delinquent 72-Hour Hearings via teleconference, if necessary.
