Ms. Geraldine David Pickard Stewart was born on Nov. 13, 1930, in Bogalusa, and passed away at Resthaven Living Center on April 9, 2020, at the age of 89.

She is survived by her children, Gary Stewart (Lourenda), Bruce Stewart, Kenneth Stewart, Pam (Larry) Quinn and Sandra (Wilson) Herbert, all of Bogalusa; six grandchildren, Kevin Stewart, Kyle Stewart, Dana Burton, Dale Stewart, Tiffany Stewart and Kellie Stewart; and also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

Ms. Stewart is preceded in death by her husband, James Horace Stewart; two sons, Paul Stewart and Ronald Stewart; her parents, Dock David Pickard and Lillie Mitchell Pickard; and her siblings, Elwood Pickard, Bernard Pickard, Yvonne Pounds, Elaine Mitchell.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Pete Underwood officiating.
