James Andrew “Andy” Stewart, passed away at home on March 26, 2020, at the age of 66. He was born and raised in Bogalusa, on July 27, 1953.
He was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
He was the son of the late Willie “Bill” Daniel and Mary Entrevia Stewart.
He is survived by his sisters, Mimi Rose (Ray) Fontenot of Central, and Terry (Perry) Keen of Bogalusa; brother, Daniel Willie (Jerri) Stewart of Bogalusa; four nieces, Heather Toney of Central, Tabetha (Patrick) Ezell of Bogalusa, Nikki (Damon) Duke of Madisonville, and Michelle (Tim) Blansett of Kokomo, Miss.; nephew, Mike (Alaina) Keen of Bogalusa; several great-nieces and great-nephews; three aunts, Margie Brown of Bogalusa, Joyce McKean of Slidell, and Pat Pounds of Bogalusa. He is also survived by numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Mary Stewart; grandparents, Andrew and Mamie Entrevia and James and Virginia Stewart; niece, Mindy Fontenot; and sister-in-law, Loretta Stewart. He was also preceded in death by numerous aunts and uncles.
The family would like to give a special thanks to his caretaker and dear friend, Rickey Wheat.
Graveside services celebrating his life will be held at Ponemah Cemetery on Wednesday, April 1, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Father Daniel Brouillette will officiate.
Military honors will be presented by Magic City American Legion Post #24.
