Thursday evening update: State has seen 392 COVID-19 cases, 10 deaths

On Thursday evening, the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) released its updated statistics concerning the COVID-19 pandemic in the state.
The LDH reported at 5:30 p.m. that it had seen 392 reported cases of COVID-19, with a total of 10 deaths. There had been a total of 899 tests completed by the state laboratory — this total does not include commercial testing.
As of Thursday evening, there had been 26 different parishes that had reported at least one case of COVID-19. There had been two reported cases in Washington Parish, but no deaths.
The new report showed some growth in the reported spread of the disease. As of Thursday at 9:30 a.m., there had been 347 cases and seven deaths, reported among 17 parishes.
