Parish has its 1st reported COVID-19 case
The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) reported Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. that Washington Parish has its first reported case of COVID-19.
No additional information was immediately available about the case, including the age and more detailed location of the patient.
As of Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., the LDH was reporting that 457 tests had been completed by the state lab, with 171 cases reported and four deaths. Washington was one of 12 parishes with at least one reported case.
