Mr. Bobbie Earl James Sr. was born March 29, 1939, to the late Nathaniel James and Estella Magee in Mt. Hermon.

He leaves to cherish his memories: one son, Bobby James Jr. of New Orleans; four daughters, Beverly James, Cheryl James and Angela James, all of New Orleans, and Kaela James of Franklinton; two brothers, Horace James of Franklinton, and Forace James of Mt. Hermon; and two sisters, Alice Kelly of Austin, Texas, and Listeria Lewis of New Orleans.

He was preceded in death by his father, Nathaniel James; mother, Estella Magee; and two sisters, Audrey Weary and Lattie Mac Sandites.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Feb. 22, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Little Union, 32266 Frankie Miller Road in Mt. Hermon. The service will follow at 1 p.m., with Pastor Freddie Deere officiating.
