Rodney J. Capo, a lifelong resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020, at the age of 58. Rodney was born on Oct. 31, 1961, along with his identical twin brother Ronald. Rodney enjoyed and spent most of his life with family and friends at his home and family establishment, Capo’s Bar. Rodney was happiest when he was in the company of family and friends, and thoroughly loved his time spent with them there. Rodney was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in Bogalusa. He leaves many family and friends to mourn his passing.
Rodney is survived by three aunts, Vita Capo Saltaformaggio of Bogalusa, Lucille Capo Castine of New Orleans, and Metta Ulvick McMillan of Bogalusa; two nieces, Khristian Capo Whaley of Franklinton, and Katelyn Capo Owens of Bogalusa; and a great nephew. Rodney leaves numerous cousins that he grew up with and loved but was especially close to Chris Capo of Bogalusa and Anthony Saltaformaggio of Bush.
Services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. The funeral service will be officiated by Rev. Father Daniel Brouillette from Annunciation Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
