Clifford McDaniel, 73, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020, in Hammond. He was born on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 1946, in Independence. Clifford was a resident of Loranger.

Clifford is survived by his wife, Susan Nastasi McDaniel; daughter, Wendy McDaniel Sistruk and her husband Brian; step-sons, Jason Bradly Harris and his wife Lori, and Chad Edward Harris and his wife Karen; grandchildren, Lindsey Nicole Delaune, Blake Michael Kirby, Sarah Elaine Harris, Brendan James Harris and Mary Ann Harris; brother, Wilton McDaniel; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Riley and Maude Bennett McDaniel; four brothers; and three sisters.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, Jan. 16, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, located at 2000 N. Morrison Blvd. in Hammond. Visitation will continue on Friday, Jan. 17, from 10 a.m. until the Funeral Service begins at noon at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Killian Chapel Cemetery in Montpelier.
