Pamela ‘Muffin’ Case

Pamela “Muffin” Case, 63, passed away on Jan. 5, 2020, at Ocshner Medical Center Northshore. Mrs. Case was born June 1, 1956, in New Orleans. She grew up in Chalmette. After marrying the late Adrian “Big A” Case, she lived in Bogalusa, until his death in 2012. She then moved to Pearl River, to be closer to her children and grandchildren.

Pamela was a loving wife, mother, and Nana. She was active at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, helping to teach the youth Sunday School class until her move to Pearl River. Pamela enjoyed taking classes in ASL at the Center for Deaf in Action in Covington. She learned sign language and would often sign songs in church on Sundays.

Pamela held a great respect and love for her sisters, Susan Wagoner and the late Stephanie Culligan. She would spend hours talking to them and enjoyed sister trips together.

She loved watching her grandchildren Patrick, Thomas and Timothy growing up.

She is survived by her son, Brandon (Laurie) Case; her daughter, Rhiannon Case; her sister, Susan Wagoner; three grandsons, Patrick Case, Thomas Case and Timothy Case; and her miniature schnauzer, Harley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John “Buster” Holmes and Emma Jean Shivers Holmes; her husband, Adrian “Big A” Case; brother, Thomas Barrs; sister, Stephanie Holmes Culligan; and her shih tzu, Gabriel.

Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa on Saturday, Jan. 11, at 10 a.m. with the funeral to follow at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Keith Sheridan officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
