Parish native to hold book signing
In “Pressure, Pain and Purpose: Push Me To My Destiny,” author Patricia Barnes conveys to readers her struggle with all of the obstacles placed before in life’s many challenges. The book chronicles her battles with many of life’s lesser vicissitudes, her faith in God allowing her to rise above the fray and gain in strength in the light of the knowledge of Christ.
Barnes will be appearing at the Franklinton Branch of the Washington Parish Library on Saturday, Jan. 11, from 10 a.m. until noon for a book talk and signing. She will discuss her approach to the writing process, the inspiration for the book and will have copies available for sale.
Patricia is a native of Washington Parish and is a devout Christian. Having faith has allowed her to cope with life’s tougher experiences and to get through each one. This program is open to all and is free to attend.
