The Talented Art students at Franklinton High School, for the fifth year in a row, have made Christmas cards. Each year, every class of Talented Art students at FHS designs, paints, cuts and glues little Christmas card masterpieces. And each year these cards are sent to the non-profit organization Cards for Hospitalized Kids.
This organization accepts cards from all over the U.S. for any and every holiday. The cards are then sent out to different children’s hospitals across the nation. The cards are to wish hope and strength to children that are spending the holiday away from home.
The Talented art students at FHS hope that their cards bring a smile to a sick child’s face.
Pictured with over 60 cards are: front row, left to right, Jacob Breaud, Marley Smith, Morgan Athey and Destiny Watkins; back row, Tayte Landry, Van Mizell, Emma Loyd, Marleigh Schilling and Josiah Dickson.
