Irwin Aldrich Sticker passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019. He was preceded in death by parents, Henry and Eva Sticker; his brother, Gerald Henry Ray Sticker; and his sister, Quida Fay Sticker Ciresi.

He is survived by his sons, Eugene (Sherry) Sticker of Bogalusa, and Donald (Ruth) Sticker of Covington; his brother, Glenn Ray Sticker of Bedico; his sister, Thelma Jane (Merlie) Sticker Jenkins of Bedico; his grandchildren, Bradley (Jennifer) Sticker of Carriere, Miss., Chadley (David Carter) Sticker of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Rebecca Michelle Crenshaw of Baton Rouge; and also survived by seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Irwin was a longtime member of Ben’s Ford Missionary Baptist Church. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and served during the Korean War.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation on Sunday, Dec. 8, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home, located at 216 Alabama Ave. in Bogalusa. The funeral service will be held on Monday, Dec. 9, at 1 p.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home and friends may call after 9 a.m. The Rev. Caleb Martin, the Rev. Jimmy Byrd, and the Rev. Wesley Quave will officiate.

Burial will follow in Sticker Cemetery in Bedico at 3:30 p.m. Military honors will be presented by Magic City American Legion Post #24.
