Ulysses E. Garrett, 72, of Franklinton, departed this life on Nov. 9, 2019. He was born on July 17, 1947, to Purvis (Mamie) Garrett in Franklinton.

He is survived by two daughters, Dhonyale Garrett-Dobbs of Indianapolis, Ind., and Dawn Garrett of Covington, Ga.; one brother, Eulice Garrett of Laplace; and two grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Purvis Garrett and Mamie Brown-Garrett; and two sisters, Dimpsy Lee Posey and Maxisure Garrett.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 25, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. at Sweet Home Church of Christ Holiness U.S.A. with Elder Kevin Golden, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Folsom Community Cemetery.
