Elva Daphne Rychlinski, 92, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019, surrounded by her family.

She was a native of Stockton, Calif., and a resident of Holden. Daphne dedicated many years working for the state of Louisiana. She had a true passion for photography and the beauty of a photo. Daphne adored all of her children and loved to spoil her grandchildren. She had a selfless and kind heart and truly cared for others. Daphne was a wonderful wife, loving mother, and doting Maw Maw who will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her loving husband, Eugene “Gene” J. Rychlinski; daughters, Linda Warren Coke (David), Charlette Warren Fornea (John “Buddy”), Elizabeth Warren Barton (Dennis), and Sarah Warren Hall (Steven); son, Michael Cully Warren (Carol); seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Daphne was preceded in death by her husband, Cully Albert Warren; parents, Elva and George Copeland; one sister; one brother; and grandparents, Belle Goucher Klinger and William Henry Klinger.

Relatives and friends were invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson in Hammond, on Wednesday, Nov. 13, from 10 a.m. noon. Following visitation, a graveside service was held at Old Fornea Cemetery at 2 p.m. in Varnado.
