Rudolph Pierce Jr., born Oct. 9, 1943, to the union of the late Alma Magee and Rudolph Pierce Sr., entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. Rudolph was a life-long resident of Franklinton and a graduate of Washington Parish High School.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Sandra Pierce of Franklinton; two children, Dedria Robinson of Tacoma, Wash., and Damien Robinson of Amite; three grandchildren, Tia Taplin, Taniya Taplin, and JaKari Hart; a brother, Jimmie Don Pierce of New Orleans; a special nephew, Alvin (Catherine) Brumfield of Franklinton; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Rudolph was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph Pierce Sr. and Alma Magee Pierce; two sisters, Dorothy Brumfield and Eddie Jean Brown; one sister-in-law, Ferryell Pierce; and his grandson, Damien Miller.

Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 8, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, at 2 p.m. at Sweet Home Church of Christ Holiness, 2200 Greenlaw Ave. in Franklinton. Interment will follow at Sweet Home Cemetery.
